Missions at the MET

The urgency of the missions task and the extent and complexity of the current missions environment requires prayer and discernment for the effective management of this extensive and crucial program. We view seriously our responsibility and privilege to share the Gospel with those who have not yet heard it. About 30% of the Church budget is allocated annually to missions and outreach.

We invite those who are gifted and have a heart for missions to consider being involved in various aspects of managing this program, as we try, for example, to design and apply a clear set of criteria and priorities to our funding decisions, to increase our level of prayer support, to provide care and encouragement for our missionaries, and to promote accountability.
