- What kind of software do I need to listen to the sermons
- All you need is a media player that supports MP3s. If you are using a modern Windows Platform (Win98,Win2000,WinXP), the default media player should have the capability to play MP3s. If it doesn't you need to update Windows. That are many other "free" audio players for a variety of platforms. Apple iTunes or winamp are some examples.
- How do I listen to the sermons?
- Once you have a MP3 capable player installed on your computer, click on the "sermons" link in the header. Then, click on the audio icon
of the sermon you would like to hear. It may take a moment for the file to play.
If you are prompted to "open the file with an application" or to "save the file", select "OPEN" and click "OKAY". The sermon should load and play.
Please note that loading times will vary depending upon your connection type (broadband or dial-up).
- How do I save the sermon audio?
- From your browser right click on the audio icon
and the browser will bring up a context menu. Select "Save Link as .." or "Save Target as .." depending on your browser. The browser will then prompt you for a directory/folder to save the sermon audio file. Choose the appropriate folder and press OKAY. - How do I obtain a sermon audio that its not available on the site?
- Currently you can order online any sermon that is listed on the website by using the link "Order this sermon on a CD by clicking here" and folowing the instructions. Please note online payment is currently not available; The honour system is being used. If a sermon is not listed on the website you can e-mail us at media@metbiblechurch.ca or contact the church office and we would be happy to provide you with a CD or tape cassette recording of the selected sermon(s)
- Could you provide the sermon in a different audio format other than MP3?
- In short, No. Offering the sermon in different formats will limit the number of sermons we can have online at a time. However, recording software is available with which you can reformat the sound file for burning to a CD which can be played on standard audio CD players (ie: Nero, Roxio, etc.)
- How do I burn the sermon audio file to a CD?
- Most modern computers allow you to burn the audio files to your computer. The prequisites are a CD Recorder and the appropriate software. There are many software products that allow you to burn MP3 files to a CD and we suggest that you consult your favourite audio burning software manual/documentation. Here's a few links to how to's to get you started. These links will leave the site.
