HEALTHY HOMES • The Parent Adventure: Preparing Your Kid for a Life with God
When: May 5 - June 16, 2013 (7 weeks)

We will help you teach your children to love God and pursue His purposes for their lives.  This study suggests practical ways you can build your children's faith through the day-to-day stuff of life. Even through parenting is a challenge and sometimes scarey, it is also exciting and rewarding.  The adventure lies in using those everyday teachable moments to prepare your kids for a lifetime with God.

LEADERSHIP AND CONFLICT
When: May 5 - July 14, 2013 (11 weeks)

This course from Peacemaker University will include thirty-minute video presentations, discussions and workbooks.

THE CASE FOR LIFE: Making Abortion Unthinkable
When: May 5 - June 9, 2013 (6 weeks)
Where: Room 207
Teacher: Andrew and Jen Harwood
The issue of abortion is not just a political issue; it is very relevant to Christians since God is the Creator of all life and values human life immensely.  This DVD-based course will whow you that the pro-life position is reasonable and morally defensible, and will equip you with the tools to make a persuasive pro-life case when talking to non-believers.  You will learn how to restore meaning to the work 'abortion,' simplify the issue, expose common flaws of pro-abortion rhetoric, use sceintific evidence and make a philosophical case for life.

ANGELS, THOSE INVISIBLE SERVANTS OF GOD
When: May 5 - May 26

This class will look at what the Bible teaches about Angels, who they are, their rank, and designation.  What their purpose and relationship to God and human beings is, and what are the activities of both Holy Angels and Fallen Angels.

MEN@WORK

Teacher: Stephen Priddle
Men spend the majority of their waking hours in employment or business. How does knowing Christ impact our working lives? Through the examination of the Scriptures, discussions with other men, and wrestling with real-life examples we will endeavour to learn how Biblical principles apply to our work lives for the glory of God. Whether you’re starting your career or retired there will be something for you.

AN IN-DEPTH STUDY OF THE BOOK OF ACTS

The acts of God through the acts of the Apostles.
A story of stories! The beginning, development and organization of the infant church, with specific emphasis on the Greek text.

ISLAM AWARENESS
When: May 5 - June 23
Where: Room 207-209
This course is a tool to learn effectively about Islamic faith, to enable the church/the believer to better understand Islamic culture in order to share the Good News with Muslims.  It will cover the following topic with more detail related to each subject: History of Islam and its roots; Islam in the Arab world today; Western Islam, Europe and North America; Sharing the gospel with Muslims. 

LIFE'S HEALING CHOICES
When: May 12 - June 30
Where: Room 215
Teacher: Lorena and Norman Severson
Based on the Beatitudes of Jesus Christ from Matthew 5, Life's Healing Choices contains practical Biblical teaching. Participants are guided through the choices needed to find God's path to wholeness, growth, spiritual maturity and healing. This course is for anyone who longs for life-changing real answers, real hope, and a real future leading to freedom from hurts, hang-ups and habits.
