Membership
Membership at a church is a significant stage in a Christian’s journey. The pastoral team believes it is an important step in committing yourself to a local church. Moreover, we believe that by becoming a member, you are making a public statement that you have become an active participant in the life of the church.
Anyone wishing to become a member at The MET needs to complete our Membership Package; upon completion of the material, you then attend 2 Membership classes, which will be offered on Sunday mornings during the fall and spring. Your completed membership application is then submitted for review, and an interview is arranged for applicants with two MET Elders or Deacons. We encourage people at all stages of life whether it be singles, married couples, or retirees, to consider membership as the next stage in their Christian faith. Our prayer is that Membership will help you connect more fully to The MET family and to God. The next Membership class begins April 28 at 11:00 am in room 205.
If you have any questions about membership, or, if you have begun working through the membership material and are experiencing some challenges with any part of the curriculum, please contact the church office or Courtney Edwards or click here.
