MET Adult Choir
The primary purpose of the Choir is to sing at the weekly Sunday morning Worship Services. The music selected seeks to enhance the worship atmosphere, reinforce the theme as well as proclaim biblical truth. In addition to the Sunday services the Choir performs special concerts at Christmas and Easter.
The Choir season runs from September through to May. Throughout the Choir season, we meet for rehearsals on Wednesdays at 7:00 pm in Room 179. Additional rehearsals are held on Sunday afternoons in preparation for the special Christmas and Easter Concerts.
Requirements for the Choir ministry are;
- a heart that loves the Lord and longs to worship Him through music;
- a voice that can blend; and
- and a spirit that is seeking unity with other believers.
- The ability to read music is an asset but not required.
