MetroHoops 2013 Registration

AOJ Guatemala Sponsored Child Gifts

If you would like to send your sponsored child a gift, please bring a shoe box sized package or a small back pack, marked with your name, sponsor child #, and the child’s full name on the outside of the package. Please drop it off at the Missions Kiosk by July 14.

Donations for Guatemala

In years past we have asked for clothing, school supplies and medicine to bring to Arms of Jesus School in Guatemala.  Shipping costs are so high that we are asking for cash in lieu of donations. We will purchase whatever is most needed at the school with your funds. Last year we purchased underwear and notebooks for every child as that was their immediate need.  Please submit your donation in an offering envelope and mark as "Guatemala – donations”.

Arms of Jesus Guatemala Children Sponsors

If you have a sponsored child living in Pampay, please be advised that we have purchased 80 Bibles to be given to the children in our Vacation Bible Study this July. If you would like to purchase a Bible for your child and include a note or some kind of encouragement, please contact Dorothy or Larry McEvoy at ldmcevoy@gmail.com. The cost is $10/Bible.

Spring into Summer - Bible Study for Women

Wednesdays, May 22 - June 26 ● 9:00 am ● Fireside Room ● Join a new Bible study for women called Anointed, Transformed, Redeemed.  This study will feature Priscilla Shirer, Beth Moore and Kay Arthur and will run for six weeks. Women's Ministry Summer Prayer Group

Photographs Needed

The MET Archives needs copies of any photographs you may have of Pastor Reed's farewell. Do you have photos of the Reeds on the platform, the line-ups of people waiting to say good-bye, the farewell dinner with the other pastors, or other photos? Please send these photos to library@metbiblechurch.ca or drop them off in person in the Library. The Library will return your photos to you. Thank you for your help.

Here are a few paper-saving considerations:

  • Recycle your bulletin by dropping it off at the Sanctuary exits for use in the following services.
  • Bring your own notebook or mobile device for Sermon Notes.
  • Use the e-Bulletin.

Privacy Policy

We are in the process of merging storage of personal information (excluding financial) from our MET main office database to the current Children’s Ministry Check-in database with servers in Dallas/Fort Worth, United States. Since we have used the Children's Check-in database for the past six years, this data merge does not impact any families who are already in the system. All merged personal information will continue to be used for the purpose in which it was originally collected and is in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Vacation Bible Camp
