Quizzing

“I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.” (Psalm 119:11)

Quizzing is a competitive Bible memorization ministry for young people in grades 6 thorugh 12. The quizzing year is divided into four semesters and each semester culminates with a quizzing tournament. The quizzing tournament enables quizzers to make new friends from other churches and to compete with quizzers from other churches in the Eastern Canadian District. The MET has 40 quizzers, 10 teams, 10 coaches, 2 quizmasters, 2 scorekeepers, 3 listeners and the youth pastors provide the bible teaching.

To participate in the program, quizzers are required to memorize a minimum of ten verses each week for a total of 240 verses in a year. This year quizzers will be memorizing verses from the Book of Matthew. Our best quizzers will memorize all 860 verses. Quizzing practice is every Sunday 4:00 to 6:00 pm.
