Single Adults
Being a single adult in this day and age is becoming more of the norm in and outside the church, and The MET is no different. With numerous singles that are a part of our church family, it can still be a daunting task to meet other singles, connect and grow in one’s faith and all the while not become segregated from the larger church family, but integrated as an important and necessary part of the Body of Christ. If you’re a single, we have so many different ways for you to do this, in fact, we don’t have a Singles’ Ministry in the traditional sense, rather, connecting Singles with each other, and to the larger church family, and ultimately to Christ, IS our ministry. Here’s a few ways we do this:

MET Adult Christian Studies (MACS) and Single Focus
Each Sunday morning we offer adult education classes called, MACS (MET Adult Christian Studies). Adults of all ages, and demographics - yes, this includes single adults - are more than welcome to take part and do! We also have, as part of our adult Sunday education, a Single Focus MACS class. These are specialized or tailored classes where the topics will vary but the focus remains the same: growing fellowship as issues that are relevant to single adults today are discussed from the Bible.
This special MACS class for single adults is led by an experienced Bible teacher and hosting team. Come and join us to experience how the meeting and sharing with singles can enrich your spiritual journey!
MET SPORTS Drop-In
Bring yourself and invite others to drop by the Gym for an evening of challenge on the court and off. Whether you are a rookie or retired “pro,” get into the action at The MET and get ready to learn about a victory that never ends! There is no fee and no need to register in advance. We welcome men and women of all ages to participate. Click here to learn more.

The MET's LIFE Group Ministry (small group Bible studies) are multi-generational groups for men, women, single adults, or a mixture, who meet in homes or at The MET. Click here to learn more about our LIFE Groups.
MET Singles Special Events
At different times throughout the year, singles from the MET get together and just have fun… whether that be hiking in Gatineau Park, skating on the canal during Winterlude, or serving together for Operation Christmas Child or our Bridges Ministry to the hungry. This is a great way to meet others, invite friends, and grow.
