Woman to Woman

Where can you find warm Christian fellowship over a cup of coffee, Spirit-filled worship, and spiritual growth through the study of God's Word?  Right here at The MET -- and you are invited to join us!

Meeting weekly, Woman to Woman teaches women of all ages and backgrounds how to apply God's Word to our lives, to grow in their faith, and to develop caring friendships.  In addition to regular Bible studies, there are opportunities for women to reach out to others through "love in action" throughout the year.

Our special events present the Gospel through music, dramas, faith stories and inspirational messages. Our studies include unique and exciting opportunities for growing in our spiritual walk.

We also offer "Mom to Mom" (aka M2M) for mothers of young children. Childcare is provided at all Woman to Woman events so everyone can join us knowing their little ones are provided for.

We meet weekly on Wednesdays from 9:00 am until 11:15 am in the Fellowship Centre commencing September until May. Please contact Nancy Lennox or the church office (613-238-8182) for further details.

TO YOU, O LORD, I LIFT UP MY SOUL"
A Group-Wide Study of the Psalms

Exciting days at Woman to Woman! You are invited to take part in our new group-wide study of the Psalms focusing on the theme, “To You, O Lord I Lift up my Soul.” Over 13 weeks, the Psalms will be opened up through teaching and discussion, helping us learn more about God’s character and how we can know Him better and live in a way that glorifies Him.

The study will be divided into two parts.

  • Part A - January 30 until March 6 - will focus on the theme, “To You, O Lord.” A variety of Psalms will be used to reveal the nature and character of God. We will learn how God is good, faithful, awesome, the willing sacrifice, and our rock.
  • Part B - March 20 until May 8 - will focus on the theme, “I Lift up my Soul.” Various Psalms will be used explore how we can know God better and live in a way that glorifies Him. We will lift up our desire to follow His Word; our desire for justice; our homes; our hearts’ reflections; our thankful hearts; and our forgiven hearts.

Each week, we will begin with a time of teaching, after which there will be discussion in small groups. A study guide has also been created. It has been designed to enrich the teaching and discussion times, and allows for further study, reflection and application at home.

Please join us!

Therefore, encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.
