Church Staffing Update
We are excited to announce that Elizabeth Meed has joined our staff team as Administrative Assistant/Reception. Children’s Ministry summer students Elsbeth Carpenter, Miriam Carpenter, Kaily McLean and Jocelyn Webber are hard at work planning our summer camps and VBC. Ryan McPherson will be joining them at the end of June. Summer student Julia Warren is focusing on METTykes summer and fall ministry planning. We are excited to see how the Lord will develop and employ each of their giftings as they serve in their respective ministries.

Volunteer Appreciation
Beginning Sunday, June 9, let’s all take a moment to thank those who serve so faithfully at The Met. Share some words of encouragement with them by filling out a thank you note in the lobby after the service.

The Big Give
Thank you to all of those who invited guests, served and attended the Big Give. This was a great opportunity to engage with our community. Events like this could not happen without you.

Short Term Missions Team Focus
Lindsay and Jeremy Brazeau work as teachers at a missions school in Papua, Indonesia. The goal is to support the work of church planters and bible translators by providing quality education and a supportive environment for their children. Pray for recovery efforts after the massive flooding and landslides which took place in March, for finalization of the adoption of their son, Jasper, for Jasper to be granted Canadian Citizenship in a timely fashion, and their health and well-being.

Summer Camps
This year we have 3 new camps in addition to VBC and MetroHoops. Kids will have an opportunity to choose one elective for the week (lego, performing arts or sports) and on the Friday of each week there will be a different outing. Don’t forget to enrol your kids for one of these 3 great week-long camps. Click here to register.

Donations for VBC & Summer Camp Programs: Snacks & Lego
VBC is looking for snack donations for this year's camp. A table will be set up in the lobby where people can pick up a list of items. Remember, your donations must be nut free.
Do you have Lego that's no longer being used? We are in need of donations for use at our Summer Camps programs.
Donations of both items can be dropped off at the church office.

Children's Ministry Sunday Summer Volunteers Needed:
The Sunday Children’s Summer program will be starting on June 30 and we have a great need for volunteers who are 16 years of age and older to serve. This is a great opportunity to help out for 2 or 3 Sundays and allow those who serve regularly through the fall, winter and spring months to have a time of rest. Click here and fill out our 'Interest in Serving' form and select 'Children's Ministry Sunday's'.
