Communications, Production and IT Assistant
The Met is looking for a gifted Communications, Production and IT Assistant to provide full-time ministry support focusing on our Met database, the website, Sunday morning technical support, bulletin support, video production support, and computer systems.
We are excited about our new 1-year internship program. We are looking for young people who have completed an undergraduate degree, who are willing to give us a year with them, to provide teaching and practical skills, to help them assess the Lord’s calling on their lives to further ministry studies. We recognize the need for strong Bible teachers in Canada and we want to invest in young people with appropriate gifts for ministry. Interns will be required to raise some funding to be used towards their remuneration. The internships will be for a year with the possibility of an extension based on a performance evaluation. Interns will likely have the opportunity to be involved in different areas of ministry during their tenure.
Summer Student Opportunities
At The MET, we want to make an impact on people’s lives by training ambassadors. This comes about by equipping our emerging leaders so they can invest in the lives of those under their care. Our Summer Student Program provides full-time employment that both enables students to be able to introduce people to Jesus and helps them on their journey towards becoming devoted followers of Christ. We are looking for Summer Students to join our staff team to have a practical, hands-on ministry experience in both the Children’s and Outreach Ministries.
We are looking for:
- devoted disciples of Christ who model a passion for God and a love for all people;
- able to work full-time (includes weekend work);
- leaders who energize others through their passion, optimism and attitude;
- those who demonstrate that they will do anything it takes to get the job done;
- those who are adaptable and aligned to the requirements;
- those who demonstrate communication, shepherding, relational, and task-management skills;
- those who are teachable and willing to learn and grow; and,
- those who are proficient in computer database skills and social media.
