Plan a Visit to The Met

Visiting a new church can be intimidating! We know because we've all been there. Our heart is for you to feel welcome here at The Met.

A typical Sunday Morning at The Met brings together a variety of different kinds of people, each with their own faith journey. We're so glad you're here. Whether you've been walking with the Lord for years, or are looking for a new church, we have a place for you.

The Metropolitan Bible Church ("The Met") has been a lighthouse for the gospel in Canada’s capital region since 1931. Our mission is to glorify God by making disciples of Jesus Christ, together engaging people with the gospel, establishing believers in the gospel and equipping servants of the gospel, in our nation’s capital and the nations of the world. Whether you are a committed believer or a curious skeptic, you are welcome here.

Here are the answers to some commonly asked questions when considering a visit to The Met:

When can I come?

We meet each Sunday for worship service. We would love for you to join us at 9:00am or 11:00am. We recommend arriving 15 minutes early so you have time to park and find your seat.

Reminder: the clocks spring forward this weekend as daylight saving time begins on March 8 at 2am. Check your alarms so you can arrive on time!

MetKids Sunday School is available for both services, and Livestream is available for second service on our YouTube channel.

Our church campus is located at 2176 Prince of Wales Drive, Ottawa, Ontario, K2E 0A1.

If you are arriving by bus, you can plan your trip with OC Transpo.

Our desire as a ministry of The Met is to come alongside parents and guardians to equip, support, and inspire them as the primary spiritual leader in the lives of their children. Our Sunday School program uses the Gospel Project Curriculum.

How can I get connected?

How can I engage with sermons?

When you are here for a Sunday worship service, you can follow along in your own Bible or one that we have in the pews, which is the ESV.

We also use the YouVersion Bible App where you can see the sermon points and scriptures, as well as add your own notes.

If English is not your first language, you can download the Kaleo App to get live translation of the service in another language.

We livestream our worship services, so you can always go back to watch a sermon on our YouTube channel or website
