Why Short Term Missions?

At The Met, we engage in Short Term Missions with the aim of supporting and encouraging Met Missionaries in their ministry efforts. Local and global Short Term Missions trips give participants the opportunity to explore their role in the Great Commission, serve the local church, share the gospel, see firsthand how God is working locally and around the world and provide assistance to the Missionaries we partner with. For many, these trips help discern whether God is calling them to missions long term! We invite you to consider praying for or participating in one of our Short Term Missions opportunities.
