Small group questions for Thursday, June 18th
Who We Are
MetYA is all about providing an opportunity for adults ages 18-25 to encounter the love of Christ through engaging music, community, Bible study, and outreach. MetYA is designed to serve the young adult community by connecting college and university students as well as young career professionals and providing a place where tough questions can be asked and explored.
What Does a Typical Thursday Night Look Like?
During the school year (September-May) we meet Thursday nights at 7pm in the Chapel at The Met. The service starts together as one big group where we play Kahoot, then sing some worship songs together, and hear a sermon. There's a Q&A each week with the Pastor who preached, and then we go to small groups to discuss the sermon and pray. We end the night with snacks in the gym and some volleyball (if you're so inclined)! New people are always welcome!
Now we are in the summer (June-August), and things look a little different! Weather permitting, we meet at 6 pm at Mooney's Bay Beach. We play volleyball, spikeball, and enjoy some snacks from 6pm-7pm and at 7pm there is a time of worship and a short message. The night finishes off with small groups and prayer and we head out when it gets dark.
